EBAY: What An Opportunity

EBAY: What An Opportunity

I am pretty sure everyone reading here knows about eBay and what type of business they operate.

I took a look at EBAY stock and noticed nice pattern for trading.

Take a look at the 1yr chart I pulled for 2013:

The current 52-week trading range is Low 48.06 - 58.04 High.

As of today, it is trading at $48.48.

Pattern of Opportunity

Take a look at the spiking pattern for EBAY, it is current at the low point. So grabbing now might be a good idea.

MEET: Get It While It's Low

MEET: Get It While It's Low

Back in September, I mentioned that MeetMe, Inc. was social networking stock worth looking into.

Here is a historical chart of the stock's performance since that post:

I have been tracking this stick and it does have a very predictable pattern for trading.

Points To Know

Also, there have been positive news posted about MeetMe, Inc. which just pinpoints to me the positive potential this stock has to climb. Here are a very things I will point out:
  1. Increased monthly and daily active users.
  2. Recently ranked No. 1 in the Internet category and No. 3 overall on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™.
  3. At least 1 out of 5 relationships in the U.S. have started online.
  4. People are lonely. There will be increased use of online dating/matchmaking systems during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
As people become introduced to MeetMe, I believe that the company's members base will continue to grow. More members means increased profit for the company.

Stock price closed at $1.83 on Friday, 2013 11 22. Recent high was $2.40.

This Is A Good Time To Buy At The Dip .....

RSH: Profit From Turmoil

RSH: Profit From The Turmoil

Here is a quick 'bleep' on Radio Shack (RSH).

Last week, Radio Shack received financing offers from Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and GE Capital. This great news to show key partners and investors that they will have enough money to fund the company's turn-around efforts.

Though this good news did not do anything to jump-start the stock price up, it's going to be great news for those who have been holding shares, or intend to buy any.

The way I see it is like this: ..... Our government is currently in a financial battle. The stock market has been tumbling down for the past 2 weeks because of it, this includes Radio Shack's stock [see the 1 month chart below].

Take Advantage of the Dip

Average price as of today was 3.29. I see this taking off as soon as these 'thumbs-battles' between politicians are over with.

Though I would buy now, I would hold and wait until it takes a quick spike before taking a quick profit on this one.

!! Good Luck !!

MEET: Social Networking Stock Worth Looking At

MEET: Social Networking Stock Worth Looking At

During my research of stock opportunities, I came across this one (MEET) MeetMe, Inc.

MeetMe, Inc. is a social media company which owns a number of social meeting platforms across the United States. They acquire clients by promoting meeting new people through social gaming and virtual currency. These promotions are executed via iPhones, Android Phones, and websites.

$$$ [cha-ching] Opportunity

Take a look at this 1-yr chart:

This stock is currently below $2.00 per share. If you look at it simply, think about this company and what it does; it works on platforms based on software for the phone and on the web. There can't be that much overhead to a company like this unless you are a company like Apple or Microsoft.

When I took a look at the history of most headline news, I really didn't notice too much negative history posted for this company. I mean, yeah ..... the stock price dropped a little. Nevertheless, I believe it has nowhere else to go but up.

I say it again, "$$$ [cha-ching] Opportunity!"

AAPL: Apple Proves Us Wrong, Holy Cow!

AAPL: Apple Proves Us Wrong, Holy Cow!

When Apple first released to the world its new iPhone, there were so many disappointments. Many expected a larger screen with better photo resolution and OS function capabilities. Analysts and others like myself became very negative about (AAPL) Apple.

The stock it self even took a nose dive to approximately $452.00 per share. See below and take a look:

Surprise Surprise
Consumers around the world flocked in large lines for the new iPhone and they sold about 9 million phone in three days.

The stock price has recovered up to $485.00 per share as of this post.

!! Impressive !!

AMD: The Up & Up

AMD: The Up & Up

On one of my previous post on AMD, I mentioned that AMD's stock price was at a month low and investors should load up on this stock before it takes off.

Shake It Off

OK! ..... News events took a blah blah blah causing investors to panic. Shortsellers were also playing their game driving the stock price to drop even lower.

Well, I think the panic is subsiding a bit now. The stock price should move up extremely higher now that we are getting closer to the Holidays.

Both Playstation and Xbox sales are expected to boom. When this happens, the AMD stock price will leap.

Some have even speculated that the stock could reach $85.00 a share soon. When I step a back and look at it, I do see $35.00 a share easy.

I will say it again! ..... Load up on this stock before it takes off.

Brushing Off The Panic

Brushing Off The Panic

This past Thrusday, the stock market took a dump.

Walmart missed earnings estimates reporting that traffic through the stores were good, but shoppers were spending less. Then analysts used Walmart's report as an excuse to put the investment community into Panic-mode by saying that we were definitely heading into recession.

Hence, there was a big sell-off Thursday & Friday.

What Are We Panicking For?

To use Walmart's sales report as a gauge is ridiculous.

Here's are a couple questions we should ask ourselves:
  • Did we forget that people were probably traveling on vacation?
  • Did we forget that many consumers have been buying more expensive items lately such as automobiles & homes?
  • And what about specialty stores carrying top name brands? Did we stop to look at whether people are shopping more at these type locations?
The Way I See It

Market volume has been extremely most likely due to traders being on Summer vacation. This correction was necessary because the market climbed too fast in too short a time. We should see a stable market now that children have once again started school and traders are back in the game.

SFMI: Worth Taking A Look

SFMI: Worth Taking A Look

SFMI, Silver Falcon Mining Inc.

During my research of companies to invest in, I came across a small mining company (SFMI) Silver Falcon Mining Inc. which has the potential to get pretty big.

You will see that SFMI is currently a penny stock trading over the counter at an average price of .0085 - .01.

Take a look at the 5 day chart below:

I have read most of the boards for this stock and there seems to be a lot of negative tone in members' discussions.

Nevertheless, this small company is trying to get itself off the ground. News indicates that it is awaiting inspection & financing to begin collecting material for processing gold and silver.

I think this stock is worth observing. If they get all they need to finally get that push into profitability, SFMI could take off big.

I would keep an eye on this one.

AMD: I See A Pop Coming

AMD: I See A Pop Coming

I have been tracking  (AMD) Advanced Micro Devices for some time now.

As of today, the 52-week range was 1.81 - 4.65.

With recent news of AMD entering into various contracts with their processors in upcoming gaming consoles, you can see that management has done a great job in streaming away from focusing on the PC market, into other avenues of profit.

Take a look at the current 3 month chart below:

The next generation consoles Sony's PlayStation 4 & Microsoft's XBox One should be ready for shipment by the holidays. I am sure millions of these consoles will be bought by consumers, which will promote great profit for AMD.

As can be seen from the chart above, AMD's stock has hit a 3-month low which is a great time to buy.

I see it simply. Load up on this stock before it takes off.

RAD: Let's Talk Rite Aid

 RAD: Let's Talk Rite Aid

Here's quick take on Jim Cramer's view about Rite Aid:

Rite Aid (RAD), CVS Caremark (CVS), Walgreen (WAG): "I do believe RAD is making a comeback. I like CVS, then Walgreen then RAD in that order."

Rite Aid has climbed really, really fast lately. Take a look at the stock's performance for the past six months. ..... WOW!

Keep abreast of news for this one because the team working to turn Rite Aid around seems to be doing a great job in restructuring and reducing operating expenses.

Nevertheless, for the now, I do agree with majority out there in taking profits.

Russian Gas: Polar Icecaps of Emerging Growth

Russian Gas: Polar Icecaps of Emerging Growth

There is no doubt that the polar icecaps are melting.

If anyone, or any group is spreading news that our planet not under threat from global warming, THEY LIE!

Cha-Ching of Opportunity

Novatek, a Russian gas company is working to be one of the first make to make a profit from it.

New York Times, 2013 07 24 - Novatek, in partnership with the French energy company Total and the China National Petroleum Corporation, is building a $20 billion liquefied natural gas plant on the central Arctic coast of Russia. It is one of the first major energy projects to take advantage of the summer thawing of the Arctic caused by global warming. A rendering of Novatek's proposed $20 billion liquefied natural gas plant on Russia's Arctic coast, scheduled to be done by 2016. From this windswept shore on the Arctic Ocean, where Novatek owns enormous natural gas deposits, a stretch of thousands of miles of ice-free water leads to China. The company intends to ship the gas directly there. “If we don’t sell them the fuel, somebody else will,” Mikhail Lozovoi, a spokesman for Novatek, said last month with a shrug.

For those investing in energy, there is excellent money making opportunity here.

RSH: Why Are We Doggin' RadioShack?

RSH: Why Are We Doggin' RadioShack?

Everyone knows that RadioShack has been in the red lately, reporting loss after loss, but RadioShack is in the process of turning itself around. Any company trying to fix itself needs time to make things happen. They are taking the right steps in kick-starting the company forward again.Unfortunately, investors and traders have been taking too much of a negative stance towards this company.

RadioShack shares plummeted this past Tuesday 2013 07 23 after the company reported a bigger loss than analysts had expected.

On a positive note, the company reported revenues of $844.5 million, beating analysts' expectations of $816.1 million.

Here are some facts to look at:
  • Same store sales rose 1.6%, which is a nice turnaround since 2010.
  • Reduction of inventory is in-work from 4K to 3K SKU's.
  • A move has been to push more private-label branded products which showed 6 consecutive quarters of growth for these products due to higher margins.
  • Stores being revamped into concept stores with more space and less clutter. These type stores will be seen in high traffic areas and at various universities.

Though we see RadioShack as a struggling entity, they have a new executive team which is focused on specified plans for turning the company around.

So let's stop doggin' RadioShack and give them a chance to let them show us what they are capable of.
